What is cmm4ExtEthPwrStat?
This read-only {off(0), on(1)} object reports the live power state of the external Ethernet switch connected to the CMM4, distinct from the write-only reset trigger cmm4ExtEthPowerReset. It lets an admin confirm the actual power state of that external switch rather than assuming a reset command worked. After issuing a reset via cmm4ExtEthPowerReset, an admin would poll cmm4ExtEthPwrStat to verify the external switch actually powered back on.
