What is vlanTagEnable?
This read-write {on(1), off(0)} object turns 802.1Q VLAN tagging on or off for the CMM3, based on its name and enumeration since the MIB provides no description text for this object. An admin enables it when the chassis needs to insert or expect a VLAN tag on its management traffic, working together with the vlanTagId object that specifies which tag to use. For example, an admin would set vlanTagEnable to on(1) before configuring vlanTagId, so the chassis actually starts tagging frames with that VLAN ID instead of ignoring it.
