snmpTrap10

Module: CMM3-MIB

OID (symbolic): CMM3-MIB::snmpTrap10

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.161.19.3.4.3.43

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-write

Description: SNMP Trap Address 10.

What is snmpTrap10?

This read-write IpAddress stores the 10th of up to ten trap-receiver destinations the CMM-III will send SNMP traps to. Configuring multiple trap addresses like this one lets an operator fan alerts from this switch out to several monitoring stations at once. For instance, an admin could set snmpTrap10 to the IP of a secondary NOC server so it also receives chassis alarms alongside the primary manager.
