temperatureSensor7WarningReset
Module: CME-MIB
OID (symbolic): CME-MIB::temperatureSensor7WarningReset
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.51.2.22.1.5.4.1.42
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-only
Description: The blade hard shutdown temperature for IPMI blades in degrees centigrade(C). An octet string expressed as 'sddd.dd Centigrade' where: s is the sign ('-' for negative or blank space for positive) d is a decimal digit or blank space for leading zeroes. The string 'Not Readable!' indicates that the given monitor is not supported on this system. The string 'No Temperature' indicates that the given monitor does not exist on this system or is powered off.
What is temperatureSensor7WarningReset?
This read-only octet string reports the temperature at which sensor 7's warning condition clears (the hysteresis point the reading must drop back below), in the same 'sddd.dd Centigrade' format as the other sensor-7 threshold objects. It matters for avoiding alert flapping, since without a reset threshold below the warning trip point, a temperature hovering right at the warning level could rapidly toggle the warning state on and off. An admin building alert logic would treat a warning as cleared only once bladeSensor7Temp drops below temperatureSensor7WarningReset, not merely below temperatureSensor7Warning.
