Description: Contains the IP address for the ethernet interface, assigned by the DHCP server.
NOTE: This MIB object is only applicable to systems with a standby MM.
What is standbyDhcpIPAddress?
This read-only object reports the IP address assigned to the standby management module's ethernet interface by the DHCP server, applicable only to chassis with an installed standby MM. An administrator reads this to find the actual address DHCP handed out to the standby MM, needed to reach it directly for testing. For example, an admin looks up this DHCP-assigned IP address to SSH into the standby MM directly during a failover drill.
