Description: Contains the 64 byte null terminated DNS host name for this interface, assigned by the DHCP server.
NOTE: This MIB object is only applicable to systems with a standby MM.
What is standbyDhcpHostName?
This read-only object reports the 64-byte DNS host name assigned to the standby management module's interface by the DHCP server, applicable only to chassis with an installed standby MM. An administrator reads this to confirm what host name DHCP actually handed to the standby MM, as opposed to any statically configured name. For example, an admin checks this DHCP-assigned host name to explain why the standby MM appears under an unexpected name in DNS.
