What is smThreePortCfgProtocol?
This read-only enumeration reports which networking protocol a port on Switch Module 3 is running, such as Ethernet, Fibre Channel, or InfiniBand. Admins use it to confirm a port is wired for the traffic type the connected device expects. For example, a port on Switch Module 3 reporting fibreChannel(32) tells an admin it's carrying storage traffic rather than Ethernet LAN traffic.
