Description: Enables/Disables IPv6 stateless auto-configuration support on the switch module.
What is smIPv6ConfigStatelessEnabled?
This read-write flag turns IPv6 stateless address auto-configuration (SLAAC) on or off for the switch module, controlling whether it derives an address from router advertisements instead of DHCPv6. Network engineers toggle it when they want the module to self-assign an address from the local IPv6 prefix without a DHCPv6 server. For instance, setting this to enable(1) lets the module auto-generate its IPv6 address as soon as it sees router advertisements on its management network segment.
