Description: Current port link setting for Switch Module 4.
What is smFourPortCfgLinkSetting?
This read-write enumeration lets an admin administratively force a port on Switch Module 4 up or down, independent of the physical link state. It's the control an admin uses to intentionally disable a port, for example to isolate a suspect connection during troubleshooting. For example, setting this object to down(0) on a port of Switch Module 4 takes that port out of service without physically unplugging the cable.
