Description: Actions that only a supervisor or chassis user account manager can perform for each user id: Enable - enables an account in the Disabled state Disable - disables an account in the Active or Locked state Unlock - unlock an account in the Locked state
NOTE: The disable action does not apply to supervisor or chassis user account manager accounts.
NOTE: Value returned for the GET command is meaningless for this MIB object.
What is remoteAccessIdEntryAction?
This read-write integer lets a supervisor or chassis user account manager enable a disabled account, disable an active or locked account, or unlock a locked account, noting that the disable action doesn't apply to supervisor or chassis-admin-tier accounts. It is the actual control an admin sets to remediate an account flagged by remoteAccessIdEntryState. For example, setting this to unlock(2) on an account showing locked(2) would restore that user's ability to log in.
