This is a write-only INTEGER control: setting it to execute(1) tells the chassis management controller to re-read hardware VPD data specifically fresh from the hardware's EEPROMs instead of serving its last cached copy, and the MIB notes that a GET of this object returns a meaningless value. An admin triggers this right after hot-swapping a card whose VPD table entries still show stale or blank data, avoiding the need for a full management-module reboot to pick up the change. For example, after replacing a blade's daughter card, an admin sets reloadHwVpdData to execute(1) so the bladeDaughterVpd fields pick up the new card's manufacturer and serial number instead of the removed card's stale entries.
