passiveAirFilterMonthFreq

Module: CME-MIB

OID (symbolic): CME-MIB::passiveAirFilterMonthFreq

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.51.2.2.22.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The chassis environment. 1 month indicates high dust, 3 months indicates moderate dust and, 6 months indicates low dust.

What is passiveAirFilterMonthFreq?

This read-write enumerated INTEGER (oneMonth, threeMonths, or sixMonths) sets the assumed replacement interval for the passive air filter based on how dusty the chassis's operating environment is, with one month meaning high dust and six months meaning low dust. An admin sets a shorter interval for a chassis on a factory floor or unfiltered server room and a longer interval for a chassis in a clean, filtered data center, so the computed replacement date matches real-world airflow risk. For example, an admin deploying a chassis next to a warehouse loading dock sets passiveAirFilterMonthFreq to oneMonth(1) so the filter is scheduled for replacement well before dust buildup restricts airflow.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.51.2.2.22.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CME-MIB::passiveAirFilterMonthFreq

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.51.2.2.22.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CME-MIB::passiveAirFilterMonthFreq.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.51.2.2.22.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> passiveAirFilterMonthFreq.1
