Description: The number of unique passwords a user must choose before reusing a password. The default value is none.
What is minimumPasswordReuseCycle?
This read-write enumerated integer (none, onePassword, twoPasswords, threePasswords, fourPasswords and so on, default none) sets how many previous unique passwords a user must cycle through before they are allowed to reuse an old one. An admin raises this to prevent users from defeating password-rotation policy by simply toggling between two favorite passwords. For example, setting this to threePasswords(3) would block a user from reusing any of their last three passwords when changing their credential.
