What is componentIPv6AddressDefaultRoute?
This OID contains the IPv6 default gateway address that a chassis component uses for the corresponding entry in the IPv6 address table. It lets an admin verify or set which router a component will send outbound IPv6 traffic to when no more specific route matches, which is essential for components that must reach management stations outside their local subnet. As an example, an admin statically configuring a blade's IPv6 stack would set this object to the site's IPv6 gateway address so the blade can respond to out-of-subnet SNMP polls.
