OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.51.2.22.32.11.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Description: Component Wake On LAN enablement status. If WOL is not supported by the component, it displays 'notApplicable' and WOL can not be enabled or disabled.

What is componentConfigurationWakeOnLanControlEnable?

This read-write enumeration reports and controls whether Wake-on-LAN is enabled for a component, returning notApplicable if WOL isn't supported by that component. Admins enable it so a powered-off component can be remotely woken by a network packet rather than requiring a manual or SNMP-driven power-on. For example, an admin enables this object on a component so an existing Wake-on-LAN tool elsewhere in the network can power it back up without touching componentPowerAction.
