Description: The email of the alternate contact person. It must contain '@' and dot '.' in form userid@hostname (130 characters maximum). The userid can be alphanumeric characters, '.', '-', or '_' but must begin and end with alphanumeric characters. The hostname can be alphanumeric characters, '.', '-', or '_'. It must contain at least two domain items. Every domain item should begin and end with alphanumeric character, and the last domain item should be 2-20 alphabetic characters.

What is altEmailAddress?

This object holds the email address of the alternate contact person, validated against the same userid@hostname format rules as the primary emailAddress field. An admin setting up a backup notification path enters this address so automated alerts or support correspondence still reach someone if the primary contact is unreachable by email. For example, if the primary contact's mailbox bounces messages, IBM support would try this alternate address instead.
