OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.51.2.23.6.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: Add one call home Event ID into the Call Home Exclusion List. The Event ID is an 8-digit hexadecimal number (0-F) with an optional prefix of '0x' or '0X'. An Event can not be added into the exclusion list if autoFtpMode is disabled. If Service Advisor Terms and Conditions are accepted, an event can be added into the exclusion list. NOTE: Value returned for the GET command is meaningless for this MIB object.

What is addCallHomeExclusionEvent?

This write-only object adds a specific 8-digit hexadecimal Event ID, optionally prefixed with 0x, to the Call Home Exclusion list, but only if autoFtpMode is enabled and the Service Advisor terms have been accepted. An admin who wants to stop a known, already-triaged event type from repeatedly triggering call-home reports sets this object to that event's ID to suppress future reports. For example, an admin tired of receiving reports for a benign recurring event would add its event ID here, after confirming autoFTPCallMode isn't disabled, to silence it going forward.
