What is cmTopologyItemId?
This DisplayString (up to 32 characters) is the user-specified name for a topology item, a network element tracked within a region. An admin sets this to label individual elements shown in the topology view. For example, an operator mapping out a site would assign each device a cmTopologyItemId matching its rack label so it's easy to identify in the topology diagram.
