Description: This object allows to specify the timeout period for timing out a security access request to the Remote Authentication Server.
What is cmRemoteAuthServerTimeout?
This read-write Integer32 sets the timeout period for a security access request sent to a Remote Authentication Server before it's considered unanswered. An admin tunes this so a slow or unreachable server doesn't make user logins hang for an excessive time. For example, lowering this timeout on a server known to be occasionally slow makes the device fail over to a backup server more quickly.
