The values of cmFacProtGroupRowStatus supported are createAndGo(4) and destroy(6). All mandatory attributes must be specified in a single SNMP SET request with cmFacProtGroupRowStatus value as createAndGo(4). Upon successful row creation, this object has a value of active(1).
The cmFacProtGroupRowStatus object may be modified if the associated instance of this object is equal to active(1).
What is cmFacProtGroupRowStatus?
This read-create RowStatus governs creation and deletion of a Facility Protection Group table row, using the supported values createAndGo and destroy, with all mandatory attributes set in a single SNMP SET. It is how an SNMP manager provisions a new protection pairing or removes an existing one in one atomic operation. For example, an NMS creates a new facility-protection pairing by sending one SET with cmFacProtGroupRowStatus set to createAndGo along with the WorkPort and ProtPort pointers in the same request.
