What is cmFacProtGroupAction?
This read-write CmProtSwitchAction lets an operator issue a user-initiated protection switch command for the group. It allows manually forcing a switchover (or reverting it) for planned maintenance or testing, rather than waiting for an automatic trigger. For example, before pulling the working fiber for scheduled maintenance, a technician sets cmFacProtGroupAction to force traffic onto the protect port ahead of time to avoid a live service hit.
