Description: This object allows specification of the S-TAG VLAN Id in the case of a VLAN management tunnel, when S-TAG is also enabled. This object is not relevant for a MAC based management tunnel, as well as when the ipManagementTunnelSVlanEnabled is set to false.
What is ipManagementTunnelSVlanId?
This read-create object specifies the outer S-TAG VLAN ID for a VLAN-based Management Tunnel when S-TAG tagging is enabled, and doesn't apply to MAC-based tunnels or when S-VLAN is disabled, per the description. Admins configure this when the management tunnel needs Q-in-Q double-tagging, adding a provider-level VLAN on top of the tunnel's regular VLAN. For example, in a provider network using Q-in-Q for management traffic, an admin would set this S-TAG VLAN ID in addition to the base VLAN ID for the management tunnel.
