Description: This object provides the results of a previous ICMP Ping Action.
What is cmIpPingResult?
This read-only text field holds the results, up to 1024 characters, of the most recently completed ICMP ping action initiated via cmIpInitiatePingAction. Admins read this object after triggering a ping to see the outcome, such as success, timeout, or round-trip statistics, without needing another management path to the device. For example, after triggering a ping to a suspect neighbor router, an admin would poll this object and see reply/timeout details confirming whether that path is reachable.
