What is serverCardStorageType?

This read-create StorageType object records whether the configuration row for the Server Card is kept in nonvolatile memory or only volatile memory, i.e. whether it survives a reboot. It matters to an administrator because a Server Card row stored as volatile will disappear on the next restart, so provisioning tooling needs to know this before relying on the configuration persisting. For example, after provisioning a new virtual Server Card, the operator checks this object to confirm the row is nonVolatile before assuming the configuration will still be there after a reload.
