Description: The status of this row. An entry MUST NOT exist in the active state unless all objects in the entry have an appropriate value, as described in the description clause for each writable object.
The values of scuRowStatus supported are createAndGo(4) and destroy(6). All mandatory attributes must be specified in a single SNMP SET request with scuRowStatus value as createAndGo(4). Upon successful row creation, this object has a value of active(1).
The scuRowStatus object may be modified if the associated instance of this object is equal to active(1).
What is scuRowStatus?
This read-create RowStatus governs the status of an SCU table row, supporting only createAndGo(4) and destroy(6), with all mandatory attributes required in a single SET when creating. An admin cares because it is the standard SNMP mechanism used to provision or remove an SCU inventory entry atomically. For example, an operator provisions a new SCU entry with a single SET carrying scuStorageType and scuRowStatus=createAndGo(4).
