Description: The status of this row. An entry MUST NOT exist in the active state unless all objects in the entry have an appropriate value, as described in the description clause for each writable object.
The values of nemiRowStatus supported are createAndGo(4) and destroy(6). All mandatory attributes must be specified in a single SNMP SET request with nemiRowStatus value as createAndGo(4). Upon successful row creation, this object has a value of active(1).
The nemiRowStatus object may be modified if the associated instance of this object is equal to active(1).
What is nemiRowStatus?
This read-create RowStatus governs the status of a NEMI table row, supporting only createAndGo(4) and destroy(6), with all mandatory attributes required in a single SET when creating. An admin cares because it is the standard SNMP mechanism used to provision or remove a NEMI inventory entry atomically. For example, an operator provisions a NEMI table entry in one SET specifying the required attributes plus nemiRowStatus=createAndGo(4).
