What is neFromPort?
This read-create VariablePointer identifies the Network Element port to which this Network Element is connected. An admin cares because it tells them exactly which physical port on an upstream element this NE was discovered attached to. For example, neFromPort pointing at a specific port OID on an upstream shelf tells the operator precisely where this NE plugs into the network.
