Description:

Autoprovisioning mode which controls automatic creation of cards plugged into the slots of Network Element. Supported values are off(1) and auto(3). When neAutoProvMode is auto then the cards inserted into the slots of Network Element will be automatically provisioned. When neAutoProvMode is off no auto-provisioning will occur.

What is neAutoProvMode?

This parameter determines whether circuit cards inserted into unpopulated slots are automatically provisioned and brought into service. When set to auto, newly inserted cards are immediately activated; when set to off, manual provisioning is required. An operator configures this to control the level of automation when expanding or maintaining card inventory.
