Description: Whether or not SNMP dying gasp is enabled on the Ethernet NTE CX101Pro30A Card.

What is ethernetNTECX101Pro30ACardSnmpDyingGaspEnabled?

This read-write TruthValue turns the SNMP dying-gasp feature on or off for the Ethernet NTE CX101Pro30A Card, controlling whether the card sends a last-gasp notification trap when it loses power. It matters because, when enabled, the Ethernet NTE CX101Pro30A Card can alert the management system to an imminent power loss using the residual energy left in its capacitors, giving a few extra seconds of warning that a plain poll-based check would miss. For example, an operator enables this object on the Ethernet NTE CX101Pro30A Card at a remote unmanned site so a sudden power failure there still generates an immediate trap instead of just going silent until the next poll times out.
