What is ethernetGE8SCCCardRestartAction?
This read-write RestartType object lets an operator trigger a specific restart-related action on the Ethernet GE-8S Connector Card by writing the corresponding action value. It gives admins a remote, in-band way to recover a misbehaving Ethernet GE-8S Connector Card without needing physical access to pull and reseat the card. When the Ethernet GE-8S Connector Card stops responding to traffic but SNMP management is still reachable, an admin would write a restart value to this OID to reboot the card remotely instead of dispatching a technician to the site.
