Description: On some condition, user wishes to make one card out of service and hold the reset signal of the card via AMI. When force offline is enabled, reset signal is held; When force offline is disabled, reset signal is released.
What is ethernet10x1GCardForceOffLineAction?
This control enables or disables a forced offline mode for a 10x1Gigabit Ethernet card by controlling the AMI reset signal. When enabled, the card is held in reset and taken out of service; when disabled, reset is released and the card resumes normal operation. Equipment technicians and automated management systems use this to safely power down and isolate problematic cards for maintenance or testing.
