Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Description: Protocols used by the time client.

What is timepClientProtocol?

This read-write enumerated value (none/udp/tcp) selects which transport protocol the unit's time client uses when querying its configured time server. An admin sets this to match whatever protocol the time server specified in timepServerIpAddress actually supports. For example, if the upstream time server only answers UDP time requests, the admin sets timepClientProtocol to udp(2).
