Description: Number of transmitted bytes.
What is statTxBytes?
This read-only integer counts the number of bytes transmitted by the unit at this protocol layer. An administrator uses it alongside statRxBytes to assess the overall byte-level throughput balance of the link. For example, a large disparity between statTxBytes and statRxBytes on a link expected to be symmetric would prompt the administrator to investigate why one direction carries so much more data.
