This read-only integer counts the number of times the unit, as a time client, failed to synchronize its clock. An administrator watches it directly as an indicator of clock-accuracy risk on the unit. For example, a unit with a nonzero and growing statTimeClientSyncFailures count would prompt the administrator to check connectivity to the configured time server before trusting timestamps logged by that unit.
