Description: Number of client retransmission's.
What is statTimeClientRetransmissions?
This read-only integer counts how many times the unit, acting as a time client, has had to retransmit a time request. An administrator treats a rising count as a sign the upstream time server is slow to respond or the path to it is unreliable. For example, a unit showing high statTimeClientRetransmissions alongside a low statTimeNbReplyReceived count would confirm to the administrator that time synchronization requests are frequently going unanswered on the first attempt.
