What is statPvcBadOctets?
This read-only counter tallies characters (octets) received and deleted on this PVC because they belonged to a bad frame. An administrator uses it to quantify, in bytes rather than frame counts, how much data is being lost to frame errors on this circuit. For example, a high statPvcBadOctets count relative to statPvcOctetsRx would tell the administrator a significant fraction of this PVC's inbound traffic is corrupted.
