What is statIfwanChAborts?
This read-only Counter tallies the number of frames aborted while being received on this WAN interface. An admin watches this counter because a rising count indicates incomplete frame reception, often due to a line disruption mid-transmission. For example, a spike in statIfwanChAborts during a known period of line noise would corroborate that the noise was disrupting frame reception on that WAN port.
