Module: CLEARTRAC7-MIB

OID (symbolic): CLEARTRAC7-MIB::schedulePort1

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.727.7.2.5.2.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Operating mode for the WAN link (port configured in PVCR protocol) when this period is activated. The possible settings for this parameter are the following:

DEDICATED: Communication is carried out over a dedicated line. ANSWER: The port can receive calls only. CALL-BKUP: Call mode using a backup recovery mechanism. The port is activated in case of line failure on the dedicated WAN links. CALL-BOD: Call mode using Bandwidth On Demand(BOND) processing, which automatically controls both dialing over and hanging up the link. INACTIVE: Deactivation of the link.

What is schedulePort1?

This read-write setting configures the operating mode, such as inactive, dedicated, answer, or call-backup, for the WAN link on port 1, provided that port is configured with the PVCR protocol, whenever this schedule period is active. It lets an administrator have this port behave differently, for example only answering incoming calls, during specific scheduled windows rather than running one fixed mode all day. For example, setting this object to answer(3) during an off-hours period means port 1 will only accept incoming calls during that window rather than operating as a fully dedicated line.
