What is pvcOspfMetricCost?
This read-write integer (1-65534) sets the OSPF link-state cost of sending a packet over this PVC, which the router advertises as the link cost in its router links advertisement. An admin raises this value on slower or less desirable PVCs so OSPF's shortest-path calculation favors faster paths instead. For example, setting pvcOspfMetricCost to 1000 on a low-speed backup PVC ensures OSPF only routes traffic across it when the primary, lower-cost path is unavailable.
