What is pvcDialTimeout?
This read-write integer (30-255) is the wait time in seconds allowed to establish a backup PVC using a dial phone number. An admin tunes this so the unit gives a dial-backup call enough time to connect before giving up and trying again or reporting failure. For example, setting pvcDialTimeout to 60 allows a full minute for the modem or dial interface to establish the backup call before the attempt is abandoned.
