Description: For all PU modes with a BAN or BNN connection. This parameter defines the type of routing required to access the remote station. Select SOURCE for source routing, or TRANSPARENT for transparent routing or SOURCE-A for source routing with an all route broadcast response to a single route broadcast request.
What is puBanRouting?
This read-write setting, applicable to PU modes with a BAN or BNN connection, selects the type of routing required to reach the remote station: source for source routing, transparent for transparent routing, or source-a for source routing with an all-route broadcast response to a single-route broadcast request. The choice must match how the LAN path to the remote BAN/BNN device is actually bridged. For example, a BAN connection whose LAN path uses single-route broadcast discovery but needs all routes back in the response would require this object set to source-a(3).
