Description: For all PU modes with a BAN or BNN connection. Source SAP (Service Access Point) used by the BayFRAD for this PU. For an BAN-HOST application (BAN side acts as primary unit), the BayFRAD can handle multiple PUs attached to the same host. For this application you must set the BAN/BNN Source SAP parameter to a different value for each PU. Valid values are multiples of 4, from 04 to DC. For an BAN-CONTROLLER application (BAN side acts as secondary unit), this parameter should be set to the default SNA SAP, that is, 04.
What is puBanBnnSsap?
This read-write 1-byte OCTET STRING, applicable to PU modes with a BAN or BNN connection, is the source SAP used by the BayFRAD for this PU, letting a BAN-HOST configuration handle multiple PUs to the same host by giving each a distinct source SAP. It plays the same disambiguating role that puLlcSsap and puDlsSsap play for their respective connection types, but for BAN/BNN. For example, two PUs sharing the same BAN-HOST destination would each need a different value for this object so the host can distinguish between their traffic.
