Description: Set to either Advertise or DoNotAdvertise. Unadvertised ranges allow the existence of certain networks to be intentionally hidden from other areas. Status is set to Advertise by default.
What is ospfRangeStatus?
This read-write enumerated value (don-t-adv/advertise/not-applicable/not-available), advertise by default, controls whether this range's summarized networks are advertised out of the area or intentionally hidden from other areas. An admin sets it to don-t-adv to conceal certain internal networks from the rest of the OSPF domain. For example, setting ospfRangeStatus to don-t-adv(1) keeps a range of internal test subnets invisible to routers in other OSPF areas.
