What is ospfGlobalAutoVLink?
This read-write enumerated value (no/yes/not-applicable/not-available) indicates whether OSPF virtual links can be configured automatically rather than requiring manual setup of each virtual link. An admin enables it to let the system establish backbone connectivity for disconnected areas without manually defining every ospfVLink entry. For example, setting ospfGlobalAutoVLink to yes(2) lets the unit automatically build a virtual link to restore backbone connectivity for an area that would otherwise be cut off.
