What is ifwanTxFlow?
This read-write enumeration, applying to the R-ASYNC protocol only, selects the transmitter flow control method, such as xon-Xoff or hardware, used by the attached equipment to control the flow of data being transmitted by the unit. An administrator sets this to match how the connected equipment expects to signal the unit to pause or resume sending. For example, equipment wired for hardware flow control would need this set to hardware rather than relying on XON/XOFF characters embedded in the data stream.
