Description: Object specific to the E1 card, when QSIG signaling is used. Object used as an arbitrator in case of collisions between the E1 card and the connected device (i.e. the local PBX). One side of the connection has to be set to X while the other side of the connection has to be set to Y.
What is ifwanQsigPbxXy?
This read-write setting picks the X or Y arbitrator role that resolves QSIG signaling collisions between the E1 card and the connected PBX. Exactly one side of the link must be X and the other Y, since the desc explicitly requires the two ends to differ; if both sides pick the same value, simultaneous QSIG messages from each end can collide with no defined winner. For example, an administrator who sets the ClearTrac E1 card to x(1) must confirm the PBX's QSIG configuration is set to Y so contention during call setup is arbitrated correctly.
