Module: CLEARTRAC7-MIB

OID (symbolic): CLEARTRAC7-MIB::ifwanPppNegociatePeerMru

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.727.7.2.2.2.1.126

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This parameter determines whether the port will consider either an offer for a larger MRU value or a request for a smaller one. Set this parameter to YES to allow the port to consider an MRU offer or request from the peer. Set it to NO (the default value) to reject it.

If you set this parameter to YES, you must also configure the Peer's MRU parameter.

What is ifwanPppNegociatePeerMru?

This read-write yes/no setting determines whether this PPP port will accept an MRU offer or request from the remote peer that differs from the default, rather than automatically rejecting it. Enabling it is required before the port will honor a peer's proposal for a larger or smaller frame size, and it works together with ifwanPppPeerMruUpTo to bound how far it can be increased. For example, if a peer device requests a 2048-byte MRU, this port will only consider that request if this object is set to yes(2).
