Description: This parameter determines whether the port will accept a request from the remote peer to send an IP Address. Set this parameter to YES ( the default value) to accept the peer's request for the local IP Address. Set it to NO to reject the request.
What is ifwanPppAcceptIpAddress?
This read-write yes/no setting, defaulted to yes, controls whether this PPP port will honor a peer's request for the local port's IP address during IPCP negotiation. Setting it to no means the port refuses to disclose or negotiate its own IP address with the peer, which can be used to lock down a link to only carry traffic without IP autoconfiguration exposure. For example, if a security policy requires this WAN port to never hand out its IP address on request, an administrator would set this object to no(1).
