Description: Frame Relay Management Protocol. The LMI (Local Management Interface) uses the reserved DLCI address 1023. The ANNEX-D and the Q-933 protocols uses the reserved DLCI address 0. Set this parameter according to the Management Interface Protocol used on the network connected to the unit port.
What is ifwanMgmtInterface?
This read-write enumeration selects the Frame Relay management protocol used on the port, LMI using reserved DLCI 1023, or Annex-D and Q.933 using reserved DLCI 0. An administrator sets this to match whatever management interface protocol the connected Frame Relay network expects. For example, connecting to a network that uses the ANSI Annex-D standard rather than the original LMI specification would require selecting annex-d(2) here instead of lmi(1).
