What is ifwanDialer?
This read-write enumeration selects the backup link's dialer mode, such as dTR, x21-L1, x21-L2, or v25-H, defining the signaling method used to initiate a dial-up backup connection. An administrator configures this to match the dialing interface supported by the connected dial-up equipment. For example, a backup modem expecting V.25bis dialing over its high-speed interface would need this set to v25-H(4) rather than one of the X.21 options.
